Glock OEM Gen MOS Spare Slide
The Glock OEM Gen MOS Spare Slide is a genuine factory-original slide featuring Glock’s Modular Optic System (MOS) cut. Designed specifically for Gen 3 frames, this slide allows you to mount a red dot optic without custom machining — using the included MOS adapter plate system. It’s the factory solution for adding optics capability to Gen 3 pistols, California-compliant builds, or Polymer80 projects.Genuine Glock OEM Part
This is not an aftermarket clone. It’s manufactured by Glock to factory specifications (manufacturer part numbers 79008 for G19, 79009 for G17, or 79011 for G34) [citation:21][citation:31]. You get the same slide Glock puts on factory MOS-configured pistols, with no compatibility guesswork. Glock OEM parts are made with the same attention to detail and quality as the ultra-reliable pistols [citation:20].Factory MOS Cut for Direct Red Dot Mounting
The factory-cut MOS configuration allows for direct mounting of optics using the included adapter plates — no custom machining required [citation:32]. The MOS system supports popular full-size red dot footprints including Trijicon RMR, Holosun 507C, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, and more. Glock’s MOS system sets the bar for adaptable optics cuts — it’s versatile enough to fit most red dot footprints with the appropriate adapter plate and sits low enough for co-witness with standard suppressor-height sights [citation:25].Key Features and Benefits
High-Strength Steel Construction
Glock manufactures this slide from high-strength steel and coats it with a durable, corrosion-resistant finish for long-lasting performance [citation:32]. The nDLC finish reduces friction, enhances durability, and minimizes reflection even in harsh environments.Available Configurations
