Why Optic Ready Slides

Built to Fit. Built to Last. Built for Optics.

1) Real Bar Stock, Real Tolerances

We don’t start with castings or imported blanks. Every slide begins as certified 17-4 stainless or carbon steel bar stock, then gets CNC-machined to tolerances we hold within ±0.001″. That’s the difference between a slide that fits and one that fights you.

2) Optic Cuts Done Right the First Time

Every optic-ready slide is cut during the same machining run as the slide body — not drilled out afterward. That means your RMR, Holosun 507C, DeltaPoint Pro, or Shield RMS sits flat, locks down tight, and holds zero through thousands of rounds. No rocking. No shims needed.

3) Every Generation Covered

Gen 3, Gen 4, Gen 5 — each one has its own geometry. Recoil spring channel, locking block interface, slide stop cut. We machine each generation to its own spec so the slide drops on without filing, fitting, or a gunsmith bill.

4) Stripped or Complete — Your Call

Want full control over your internals? Grab a stripped slide. Want to skip the build entirely? Our complete assemblies ship with a match-grade barrel, recoil spring, and factory-spec internals already fitted. Mount it, load it, shoot it.

Glock Slide FAQs

Straight answers on fitment, optics, generations, and ordering.

What’s the difference between an OEM slide and an aftermarket slide?
OEM slides are built to the original factory specs — same dimensions, same tolerances, same materials. Aftermarket slides are made by third parties and can vary in quality. Some are excellent, some aren’t. Our slides are machined to factory tolerances from certified bar stock steel so they drop in without fitting, just like an OEM slide should.
Will your optic-ready slides fit my red dot sight?
Every optic-ready slide listing shows the exact footprint it’s cut for. We support the most common ones — Trijicon RMR/SRO, Holosun 507C/507K, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, and Shield RMS/RMSc. If you’re not sure which footprint your optic uses, message us before ordering and we’ll confirm it for you.
What’s the difference between a stripped slide and a complete assembly?
A stripped slide is the slide body only — you supply your own barrel, recoil spring, and internals. A complete assembly ships with a barrel, recoil spring, and all internal parts already installed. If you want full control over your build, go stripped. If you want to mount it and shoot the same day, go complete.
How do I know which generation my Glock is?
Quickest way: look at the grip. Gen 3 has finger grooves and an accessory rail. Gen 4 has finger grooves, an accessory rail, and comes with interchangeable backstraps. Gen 5 has no finger grooves at all. You can also check the serial number prefix or look up your model on Glock’s site. If you’re still unsure, send us a photo and we’ll tell you.
Will a slide from one model fit a different frame?
Sometimes. G19 and G23 slides share frame dimensions. G17 and G22 do too. But 9mm and .40 S&W slides have different breech faces, so they’re not interchangeable without the correct barrel and ejector. Generations matter more than models — a Gen 5 slide won’t fit a Gen 4 frame. When in doubt, ask us first.
Do I need a gunsmith to install a new slide?
No. Complete assemblies install in under a minute — remove your old slide, slide the new one on, rack it a few times, and do a function check with snap caps before live firing. Stripped slides need basic armorer skills (installing the striker, extractor, and channel liner), but that’s still DIY-level work, not gunsmith work.
Do you ship worldwide, and how long does delivery take?
Yes — we ship worldwide with tracking on every order. US delivery typically takes 2–5 business days. International orders usually arrive in 7–14 business days depending on your country’s customs process. Orders over $300 ship free.
